About me:

My Name Is Enge, I was Born in Limpopo. I have lived in several cities in South Africa. I enjoy reading, writing, travelling, cooking and trying new adventures.

I am a certified Teencoach™ life coach, certified through Mayine Development Teencoaching Certification which is ICF (International Coaching Federation) accredited. I have been practicing as a Teencoach for 5 years.

Credentials:

I have worked as a teacher in Junior High schools, Elementary schools and currently teaching at a Kindergarten. I have over 8 years teaching experience in South Africa and Japan. I am attuned with educational systems internationally.

I have seven years’ experience as a Corporate Social Investment practitioner in one of the top businesses in South Africa. In this role, I managed the CSI administration, BBBEE reporting and maintaining internal and external business partnerships.

Why I chose Teencoaching or working with Teens:

When I worked as a science teacher in a township school, my focus was to change student’s attitude towards Science and Maths and to make science fun and practical. It became apparent to me that; the students needed more support beyond the curriculum focus. At that moment, I created opportunities for social talks during class cleaning time. We played music and had a relaxed time to talk about dreams and aspirations.The talks grew into day to day personal teenage related topics; Choosing High schools, family dynamics ; friendships and relationships.

This is when, I decided to make it my goal to support Pre-teens and teenagers to navigate their teen years and become passion driven adults who lead a purposeful life.
